  FAQ

How and when do I pay for classes?

Class fees are due on the first class of each monthly session.  A student is not officially enrolled in their class until the class fee has been paid.  Fees can be dropped off to the front office or placed in the locked payment box.  We accept cash and checks.

Is there a student registration fee?

Yes, we do have a student registration fee.  The fee is $40 and paid one time year.  You will pay this the first month that you begin classes and then renew your registration during that same month each year.  An updated student registration/waiver form should be filled out when you are renewing your gym registration.

What should my child wear for class?

All students should wear comfortable clothing that they can easily move around in.  A t-shirt, shorts, workout or yoga type pants or a leotard will work.  For safety reasons, please no baggy clothing or hooded tops.  All students are required to wear either white socks or trampoline/tumbling shoes.

Jewelry should not be worn in class and long hair must be pulled back away from the face.

What are your class session dates?

All of our classes run on a monthly basis.  When you pay your class fees, you are paying for one month of classes.  At the beginning of each month you get to choose if you want to continue with classes or not.

Can we still join your classes after the session has started?

Yes!  We accept new students throughout the month.

How do your free trial classes work?

Students who are brand new to the gym are offered a free trial class to try it out.  A permission slip/waiver form will need to be signed by a parent/legal guardian the day of the trial class.  To sign up for a trial class you can call or text 217-898-2675 or send us a message through our Facebook page.

Can parents stay to observe class?

Parents are welcome but not required to stay to observe their child's class.  *We do strongly encourage parents of our youngest students ages 3-5 to remain on property while their child is participating in class.

How do I find out if classes are canceled due to weather?

We will post any information about weather related closings on the Irish's Gymnastics Facebook page and also on WCIA.

What should I do if my child is unable to attend class due to illness?

If your child is ill and must miss class please call or text 217-898-2675.You may also send us a private message though our Facebook page.  If we are notified prior to their class that they will be absent due to illness, a makeup class will be scheduled for you.
